GWR 57603 'Tintagel Castle' passes Trerulefoot in Cornwall at 06:47 with the 1C99 2350 London Paddington to Penzance 'Night Riviera' sleeper service. Built exactly 51 years ago today as D1830 it was renumbered to 47349 in 1973 before being converted to a class 57/6 in 2003. Photo credit - Mark Simpson

Cornish Capers March 2009
