Enterprise on Devon viaducts

66074 is seen crossing Forder Viaduct with the 13:18 6B99 St Blazey to Newport Alexandra Dock Junction ‘Enterprise’ service.
The same train is seen again but this time at Blachford Viaduct, the consist being a variety of loaded scrap wagons, Imerys china clay tanks and bogie Cargowaggons.

In original Trainload Petroleum grey livery, 60054 ‘Charles Babbage’ passes Colton Junction South with the 6N30 13:38 Scunthorpe to Lackenby steel train.
GBRf 66729 approaches Colton Junction South with the 6H90 11:35 Tyne Dock to Drax Power Station coal service.
National Express HST led by 43316 takes the East Coast Main Line at Colton Junction with a southbound service.
‘Repaint’ for ‘Royal Scotsman’

With news that the ‘patchwork quilt’ that was 37401 has been made to look even worse with possibly the worst ever ‘repaint’ into EWS maroon with yellow stripe and small stencilled cab side numbers but without logos and the yellow ends untouched, we show a couple of views of ‘401. Above the rather shabby former ‘Royal Scotsman’ approaching Shawford with the 6O26 Hinksey to Eastleigh Yard on 27th July 2006 and below at Didcot (with Mainline blue 37/0 37248 ‘Midland Railway Centre’) in happier times with full regalia and snowploughs on 13th April 2002.
